Nestled amid breathtaking Rwandan scenery, this exceptional coffee is sourced from a pristine region at 2000 MASL, where the altitude and climate unlock extraordinary flavor potential.
Built in 2017, this unique station stands out as Rwanda’s highest-grown coffee spot, with cherries harvested from neighbouring farms between 2000 and 2400 MASL. Renowned for quality and character, Shyira is part of a rare group of washing stations in a region celebrated for producing some of Rwanda’s finest coffees.
Expertly Crafted
Our partners carefully hand-sort every cherry before meticulous processing. Cherries are floated, pulped, and then laid on raised beds to dry slowly over 30 days—turned regularly, covered at night, ensuring a perfect finish.
